Transportation

Virtually all visitors to Iceland arrive and depart through the Keflavík international airport which is located roughly 50 km from downtown Reykjavík. The airport is served by many international airlines, including two Icelandic airlines (Icelandair and WOW air), with frequent flights from Europe as well as North-America.

The flybus is the most economic way of reaching Reykjavík. It departs after all arriving flights and takes about 45 minutes to reach downtown Reykjavík, within walking distance to many hotels in central Reykjavík. The conference venue is located roughly 1,8 km from the flybus terminal and can be reached by foot, bus or taxi. Further information can be found here.

Taxis are somewhat faster and are readily available in front of the airport, as are rental cars.

Buses number 11 and 13 stop by the conference venue.
