Welcome to the 31st Nordic Meteorological Meeting (NMM31) in Reykjavík, 18-20 June 2018

The 31st Nordic Meteorological Meeting (NMM31) will take place in Reykjavík, 18-20 June 2018.
The meeting is organized by the Icelandic Meteorological Society in cooperation with the University of Iceland and the Icelandic Meteorological Office.

It will feature sessions on various meteorological, climate and climate change related topics, with specially invited key note speakers. Contributions on all aspects of Nordic meteorology and climatology are welcome, including:

  • Development of numerical weather prediction models and Nordic operational cooperation
  • Verification methods and comparisons of results
  • Probability Forecasts
  • Meteorological and climate information for the energy sector
  • Communication of forecast and meteorological information
  • Development of climate services for adaptation to climate change
  • Remote sensing systems and new data sources
  • Arctic: Observations of climate change and climate modelling

Abstracts of contributed papers and posters should be submitted at the
latest 1 April 2018.
